    Category: Honorable Service Medals 

    Criteria: The Distinguished Service Cross signifies the honorable actions of the recipient. The individual receiving the Distinguished Service Cross is of the highest standard the 502nd has to offer, displaying integrity and valor in all actions. The individual is a true leader, inspiring other members and showing that the 502nd has benefited greatly from their presence. The Distinguished Service Cross is the highest honor that the 502nd has to offer.

  • Meritorious Service Medal

    Category: Honorable Service Medals  

    Criteria: Similar to the Distinguished Service Cross, the Meritorious Service Medal signifies the honorable actions of the recipient. The individual receiving the award is of an exceptionally high standard, displaying true honour and valor in actions. The individual is a proven leader, motivating other members and representing the 502nd to an exceptionally high standard. The Meritorious Service Medal is the second highest honor that the 502nd has to offer.  Often awarded to senior leadership or long-standing contributors whose dedication directly improves the unit as a whole. 

    Awarded by: Battalion Commander or Highest in Command 

  • Legion of Merit

    Category: Honorable Service Medals 

    Criteria: The Legion of Merit Medal is awarded to officers and non-commissioned officers who have led an official scrimmage in which the 502nd has seen victory. It is for individuals who have shown exceptionally meritorious conduct in the planning and combat of a scrimmage.

  • Soldier's Medal

    Category: Commendations 

    Criteria: Recognizes a single act of personal bravery or self-sacrifice, particularly when saving other members or preserving the success of a mission at one’s own cost. 

    Awarded by: Commanding Officer 

  • Silver Star Medal

    Category: Commendations 

    Criteria:  Awarded for conspicuous gallantry in action. The recipient must perform with marked distinction, such as neutralizing major threats, defending a key position, or leading a successful last-stand effort. 

    Awarded by: Platoon Leader or Commanding Officer

  • Bronze Star Medal

    Category: Commendations 

    Criteria: Awarded to soldiers who demonstrate courageous leadership or tactical excellence during a combat operation. Typically awarded to fireteam leaders, squad leaders, or support roles who turn the tide of battle. 

    Awarded by: Platoon Leader or Commanding Officer

  • Purple Heart

    Category: Honorable Service Medals 

    Criteria: Awarded to a soldier who continues to fight effectively after being wounded in combat or who sacrifices themselves for the safety of their team. This is a symbolic recognition of bravery under fire.

  • Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal

    Category: Honorable Service Medals 

    Criteria: The Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal recognizes members who go above and beyond in helping the unit outside of combat—such as command duties, staff office work, technical support, or community engagement. 

    Awarded by: Battalion Staff

  • Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal

    Category: Combat Deployment Awards 

    Criteria: The Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal is awarded to members who's presence is regularly known at community based events outside of official scrimmages or deployments. 

    Awarded by: Platoon Leader or Company Commander 

  • Army Commendation Medal

    Category: Commendations 

    Criteria: The Army Commendation Medal is awarded to those who have displayed commendable service, both in and out of combat. The unit is privileged by their presence and their actions are highly commendable. 

    Awarded by: Commanding Officer, Battalion Staff 

  • Army Good Conduct Medal

    Category: Honorable Service Medals 

    Criteria: The Army Good Conduct Medal is awarded for individuals who have shown "above and beyond" conduct in the 502nd Military Intelligence Battalion. The recipient has shown they can be trusted with extra responsibilities and displays potential for future leadership positions. 

    Awarded by: Platoon Leader, Company Sergeant, Executive Officer, Commanding Officer 

  • Army of Occupation Medal

    Category: Personal Development Awards 

    Criteria: The Army of Occupation Medal is awarded for every three months served in the 502nd Military Intelligence Group. 

    Awarded by: Platoon Leaders 

  • Prisoner of War Medal

    Criteria: Commendations 

    Description: Awarded to players who survive and report back after being isolated or captured during milsim events with special prisoner of war rules in place. Symbolizes endurance and loyalty under extreme conditions. 

    Awarded by: Commanding Officer 

  • Army Achievement Medal

    Category: Commendations 

    Criteria: The Army Achievement Medal is awarded for every $25 donated to the unit. The unit runs off the generosity of it's members, which contribute towards the cost of our forums and servers. 

    Awarded by: Battalion Staff

  • Army Recruiting Service Ribbon

    Category: Commendations 

    Criteria: The Army Recruiting Ribbon is awarded to any soldier who successfully recruits three individuals to the 502nd Military Intelligence Battalion. The ribbon can be awarded an unlimited amount of times. 

    Awarded by: Commanding Officer, by referral from Battalion Staff 

  • Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon

    Category: Personal Development Awards 

    Criteria: The Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon is awarded to non-commissioned officers who have been promoted to the rank of Corporal. This promotion shows that they have the necessary integrity, honor and leadership required of an NCO.
